Our guest Lushes were Debra, Meghan, Morgan, Debby, Mimi, & Debbie! (I hope I got everyone's name correct.) There were lots of giggles & laughs but, it just wasn't the same without Marcy, Cindy, Shirley, Linda, & Jody! Hopefully, we'll see those gals next month!
March Bunco is "up in the air" right now....so, we'll keep you posted!
A great big "Thank You" to Gay for getting 16 crazy ladies together to make this month's bunco possible!!! It was great to see everyone!

April Bunco was a Blast!

Vilma, thanks for hostessing April Bunco! I think everyone had a blast! :) I know I did and thanks for introducing me to my new favorite wine!! :)

We have decided to skip May Bunco due to proms, graduations, etc. - it's just a busy month!
So, we'll pick it back up in June! We need to take a group pic in June too! We haven't done that lately!

Corbin Easton is playing at the House of Blues May 13th & Gay mentioned everyone getting together & going to see him! I think it would be a blast! I'll try to post more info on that & maybe we can swing a "Girls Nite Out" @ The House of Blues!! Sounds fun to me!! :)

College Textbooks Rental Saves Big Bucks

Posted by: Vicki Powers on Tuesday, August 18th, 2009
INSTEAD OF BUYING HUNDREDS of dollars of college textbooks each semester, one Houston on the Cheap reader recommended a way to save big bucks. Morthon personally saved $300 last semester… Here’s the tip: Chegg.com offers college textbook rentals that can save 65 percent to 85 percent the price of purchasing textbooks. More than 2 million books on the list, priority shipping, and free return shipping make this deal sound even better. And guess what? Chegg.com even plants a tree for every book that you rent, buy, sell or donate — in partnership with American Forests’ Global ReLeaf program. A detailed FAQ page can answer your burning questions here. It sounds like a great alternative to try!
